What does Novella mean?

The word Novella means a story and every event is a part of different story in someones life!

Whether its a milestone, celebration or a love story,  we love that we get to be apart of

of it with you!

Where are you located?

Novella is located on the second floor of Collective Event Rentals at

12 South Landing Drive in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What is the size of the venue?

Our Venue will accommodate up to 140 guests
Novella has 2715 sq ft of usable indoor event space.
We also have an outdoor courtyard used for ceremonies or outdoor events

We also have an outdoor patio which is a 20'x20' area on the 2nd floor.

There are also additional rooms included in your rental such as the prep kitchen, dressing room, and bathrooms that are not included in that total

Are outside vendors allowed? 

As Novella is an extension of Collective Event Rentals, we do not allow other rental businesses items in the space.
We do offer a special discount on any rentals booked at Collective through the Novella.  

Can we bring in our own catering and alcohol?

We do not offer any in house food or drink.  ALL caterers must be permitted + insured, and bartenders must comply with the LGCA.

To find out if your vendors of choice will be accepted, just let us know who you’d like to use and send their contact information so we can confirm their level of service will be suitable for your event. 

How do I book the venue?

Please complete the submission form and let us know what date(s) you are interested in and someone will respond within 72 hours. Once you have seen the venue and are ready to book, we will send you a Rental Agreement + invoice for your 50% deposit. Once both of these items are completed, you will be confirmed!

No booking is confirmed until we receive this payment. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date.
